Desk Drive 1.6.8 Released... »
OK, one more time, with feeling. As we say in the software industry, “No good deed goes unpunished.” The feature I added in 1.6.7 that changed the dialog close behavior of the X button caused enough issues that I had to remove it. With enough time I could likely get it working but it’s not worth the effort (or the aggravation it caused). Lesson learned. I’ve also changed the main window back to a “tool window” style which suppresses Desk Drive from showing up in the Alt-Tab task switcher. It’s surprising how much I broke with such a seemingly little change. I’ll have to beat up the testing team later for that one (Oh wait, I’m the testing team). Looks like I’m going to have to add a feature since I’ve run out of digits for 1.6.

Hi
Thanks for sorting this out so quickly!!! Where did you find the time?
I removed 1.6.7 and installed 1.6.9 - now all is well again. Log-off shutdown and reboots are being "allowed" by your application.
Thanks again... it is amazing how an application like yours becomes part of my computing life... when it was not running I would stare at the desktop waiting for the drive to mount tapping my fingers... then would remember to launch it!! Now that the problem has been sorted... no more tapping of the fingers. Thanks again!!!

Could it be because I'm a complete idiot and uploaded the x64 version and forgot to do the x32 version? No that can't be it.. :)
Naw, that couldn't be it.
I'm really off my game this week. Sorry...

Cool little program!
Bug alert! When I installed Desk Drive 1.6.9, everything was fine except that my floppy drive started going crazy. (Yeah, I know, who still uses floppies?!)
Fix: I added A:\ to the Exclude line and the floppy drive stopped.
Thanks for a useful program!

It's a known problem and seems to be specific to the floppy driver. It fact, it was the original motivation to add exclusion list. The only other work around I've found is to disable the floppy driver entirely. Glad it worked out for you.
